About
I am a filmmaker and anthropologist working at the intersection of research and storytelling. Moving across fiction and documentary, I use film to explore how people make sense of the world—and how images can bring us closer to one another. With an MSc in Social and Cultural Anthropology from UCL and a background in English Literature, I approach filmmaking as both a creative practice and a form of collective inquiry, translating complex ideas and lived experience into visual forms that are engaging, accessible, and emotionally resonant.
I have worked with founders of leading education magazines, including Education Choices Magazine and The Cocoa Dream, as well as with scientists and researchers from UCL, Oxford, and Cambridge. My experience spans short and feature films, alongside documentary production, where I have developed a strong sensitivity to narrative and the ethics of representation. I am particularly interested in expanding access to high-level academic research through visual media—whether through interviews, documentary work, or fiction that explores emerging ideas and discoveries.
Alongside my filmmaking, I am committed to creating platforms for dialogue. As an events manager and Director of the UCL Film Festival, FOMI (Festival of the Moving Image), I have hosted events bringing together hundreds of students and welcomed Oscar- and BAFTA-winning speakers including Jenny Beavan, Eddie Hamilton, Kevin Loader, and Jeremy Theobald. I aim to continue fostering collaboration between universities, students, and creative practitioners, building networks that support both critical thinking and creative exchange.
